Microgreen tray
Unlike microgreen cups, microgreen trays keep the greens fresh and growing as long as you need them. One tray generally lasts 2-3 weeks.
All orders placed for “Microgreen Tray” before Thursday at 11:59 PM will be available to pickup that same week at the Vancouver Farmers Market. Any orders placed after that will be available the following week. Barking Dog Farms does not ship produce.
Description
Microgreens are a wonderful and nutrition packed alternative to traditional leafy greens. Unlike sprouts, microgreens are grown in soil, which boosts nutrition and flavour. Each kind of microgreen tastes just like it’s traditional plant counterpart. Microgreens contain up to fourty times the nutritional qualities more mature vegetables. Microgreens take between 12 and 15 days to grow, and are classified as “baby plants”. Microgreens can be grown from a wide variety of seeds, ranging from wild cabbage to melons, cucumbers, and squash.
Orders for Microgreen Trays have a two week wait period.
